As part of British Food Fortnight our Head Chef Christian Radu was invited to a local school to prepare a seasonal dish to showcase local seasonal ingredients and encourage the children to get 'hands on' in the kitchen.
With an obvious passion for the food that he prepares, Christian creates innovative, seasonally styled menus.
Together with his brigade they produce delicious dishes with an emphasis on fresh & flavoursome locally sourced produce. This enables The Halford Bridge to offer the diner a genuine culinary experience, served in a warm & welcoming environment.
The menu for the demonstration was inspired by the Autumn season & uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The apples for our crumble are a traditional Old English variety (`Blenheim Orange`) which our gathered from the village allotment, it doesn’t get any more local than that!!
